Mezzo desktop

Nat pointed me at the SymphonyOS desktop mockups., a must read. This is one of the most exciting set of desktop mockups I've seen in a long time. There are a lot of interesting new thought about the future desktop environment. Everything we use today (windows, osX, kde, gnome) are based on the same metaphor.
