A Bluetooth Cell Phone as a Proximity Card on SUSE Linux

Here's a nice description on how to use a Bluetooth Cell Phone as a Proximity Card on Linux.

Set this up, and your laptop or desktop will automatically lock or unlock when you are in it's proximity. You can still manually lock and unlock your system when you use this method as well.

Works, with a small modification (proximity was alway reported as 0, so I added "sleep 1" after checking connection and before measuring RSSI).

However I cannot get it working with kde screensaver.
