LAMP for newbies

E@zyVG: Most of the tutorials on LAMP is mostly targetted towards programmers which assumes a level of knowledge that most beginners don’t have.

I always use XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org) to quickly set up a webserver. Just a few commands and you're running!:)
