It GIMP team have finally started thinking about redesigning the GUI on GIMP. In my opinion it is the most annoying user interface on the Linux desktop. They also should think of a better name and logo for the application. (see the article: Kill the penquin)
On the gimp brainstorm blog they’re posting the proposed ideas for a GUI redesign.
