search all channels for Inkscape
download and install
run Inkscape
Anyone can explain the following:
- Why does this packages does not create a menu entry in gnome. Just not part of the RPM?
- When I create a gnome menu item to start inkscape, where is the Inkscape icon located ????

It does create a menu entry. Just restart your desktop and the entry should be there with icon and all.
